What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant 3 into our expanding team at Tower House. The main responsibility of the post will be to assist in the planning and implementation of activity/behaviour programmes for students. You will also be asked to assist in the planning and implementation of interventions to support individual needs related to students’ social, emotional, cognitive or self-regulation needs and to work directly with pupils (1-2-1 with targeted individuals and in small groups) and assisting in preparation of resources.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate a sensitive and empathic approach to working with young males. While some experience of working with vulnerable young people is preferable, it is not essential and appropriate training will be provided for the right candidate.
