Teaching Assistant 3 - Mentor job summary
We are looking to recruit a number of Teaching Assistant 3 – Mentors, into our expanding team. The role of the Teaching Assistant 3 - Mentor is a key position, supporting a number of vocational areas and core subjects. Mentors offer classroom support, pastoral support and work with class teachers to develop meaningful programmes. Mentors support the vocational tutors as part of the tutor team and act as a supportive contact for all students.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and supportive person with an interest in at least one of the following areas: Construction/Automotive/Hospitality/Core & Academic subjects. Whilst experience of working with young people would be advantageous, the ability to develop and sustain meaningful relationships is key. You should be willing to learn, and keen to develop and appropriate training will be provided for the right candidate.
