Teaching Assistant 3 Mentor job summary

The role of the Teaching Assistant 3 - Mentor is a key position supporting pupils to access lessons and overcome challenges both in and out of the classroom. Mentor’s offer classroom support, pastoral support and work with class teachers to develop meaningful programmes. Mentors support the tutors as part of the tutor team and act as a supportive pastoral contact for all pupils. They sometime supervise classes to cover staff absence, working in small teams to deliver quality cover classes.

College Central's site in Hastings (Tile Barn Road) are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant 3 – Mentor, into our expanding team following promotion of existing staff who are now undertaking teacher training.
