What skills and experience we're looking for

At Hill View School we are looking for someone with energy, enthusiasm and a hard-working ethos to join our happy school. Hill View School is a school with a commitment to high standards and teamwork. We can offer a very positive working environment and excellent professional development and support.

We are proud to be an inclusive and successful school serving a diverse community. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our fantastic staff team. If you have a passion for your practice and want to develop further, then we want to hear from you. The successful candidate will benefit from a supportive and ambitious Senior Leadership team and the opportunities that come with United Learning.

The role is to support children in their learning to enable them to achieve their full potential. This post requires a dedicated person with energy and enthusiasm. Knowledge and experience of working with young children, especially those with SEND or specific needs, is essential.

For the HLTA role, we are looking to appoint an experienced staff member to join the team, primarily to undertake class cover and also team teach alongside teachers in classrooms in order to support accelerated progress in attainment.

What the school offers its staff

Hill View School is part of United Learning, a large and growing group of schools aiming to offer a life changing education to children and young people across England.

Our schools work as a team and achieve more by sharing than any single school could. Our subject specialists, our Group-wide intranet, our own curriculum and our online learning portal all help us share knowledge and resource, helping to simplify work processes and manage workloads for an improved work-life balance.

As a Group, we can reward our staff better: with good career opportunities and training e.g. NPQS, better pay, benefits and ultimately, the satisfaction of helping children to succeed. We invest in our staff wellbeing. Our academies each have at least eight INSET days per year (with three of those solely dedicated to planning, preparation and assessment), and an ongoing group-wide wellbeing programme. It’s an ethos we call ‘the best in everyone’. United Rewards, covering lifestyle and retail benefits including childcare vouchers, car lease scheme, cycle to work etc.
