What skills and experience we're looking for

Grade 6 pt 11 - 19 / 32.5 hpw Term time + 1 wk / 1 permanent post / 1 fixed-term post for 1 year

We wish to appoint enthusiastic and organised teaching assistants, with the skills and ability to support our students with a variety of Special Educational Needs and establish positive relationships to promote excellent learning. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a hard-working team, committed to ensuring our young people are safe, healthy and supported to achieve.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who will:

  • Develop positive relationships with students to assist their progress and attainment.
  • Plan and implement structured learning activities, working 1 to 1 and with small groups
  • Monitor and review student achievements relating to their individual targets, including the creation of Individual Education Plans (IEPS)
  • Model commitment, resilience, patience, hard work and a good sense of humour.
