What skills and experience we're looking for

30 hours per week over • 39 weeks per year • Term time only

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with the ability to support students across the curriculum on a fixed term contract. You should enjoy the challenges and rewards of working with teaching staff to support pupils, individually or in small groups. Previous experience of working with young people is desirable as is an interest in supporting students who have learning and behavioural needs. The role is an exciting chance to play a pivotal role in a supportive and friendly team and is also a great opportunity for those wishing to pursue a career in secondary teaching.

You should also have:

  • Basic language, literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
  • Be educated to a minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) level.
  • Good communication skills and a commitment to equal opportunities.
