What skills and experience we're looking for
We wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work with our SEND Team supporting students who have needs relating to Communication and Interaction, Cognition and Learning, Social, Emotional and Mental Health and Physical and/or Sensory needs.
Personal skills would include:
- A high level of patience
- Be able to empathise
- Good listening skills
- A good sense of humour
- An English and Maths qualification at C grade GCSE or above or equivalent
Hours: Monday to Friday – 29 hours per week for 38 weeks per annum plus one training day per academic year.
