Teaching Assistant job summary

Teaching Assistant - fixed term contract from September 2025 to end August 2026.

32.5 hours / week, term time only.

You must have experience of working in a school for at least two years and have Maths and English at G.C.S.E. level. You will need to be confident and resilient in working one to one with students and small groups under teacher guidance. The role will be supporting pupils in our resource base; however, experience of running interventions is also desirable.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a calm, positive approach, enthusiasm, energy and plenty of patience and be ready to support students with disabilities and communication needs. We can offer a supportive team, a progressive approach towards professional development and a positive, problem-solving working environment.
