What skills and experience we're looking for

As a Teaching Assistant, you need to be an enthusiastic and adaptable, tolerant and patient person who can support pupils with special educational needs across the curriculum, working with small groups or within the classroom environment.

Part of the role involves working directly with departments. Good interpersonal skills, an ability to organise and maintain records and be able to work flexibly as part of an established team are essential. You must be willing to assist with all the pupils' personal care needs which may include toileting, dressing, feeding and mobility.
