What skills and experience we're looking for

Armley Park Primary School is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our strong school team and support teaching and learning in our school, for a September start. Early years experience is preferred but candidates with experience of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 are also encouraged to apply, as the specific year group for this role will be decided depending on the candidates’ experience and expertise.

This vacancy will suit candidates who are enthusiastic, highly motivated, and have the best outcomes for children at heart. Knowledge and/or experience of pupils with SEN is preferable but not required.

We are looking for candidates who have:

• A passion for supporting children to learn.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as a team with staff, parents and outside agencies.
• Energy and enthusiasm for this exciting challenge.
• High expectations of children.
• Knowledge and experience of the national curriculum.
• A commitment to continuing professional development.
