What skills and experience we're looking for
Wrotham Road Primary School are looking fora highly skilled Teaching Assistant to join their excellent team on a permanent basis.
This position is 27.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 38 weeks per year. The salary of £22,071 full time equivalent, actual pro rata salary £13,870.73.
Experience of working with children in an educational setting is required along with:
- good English and Mathematical skills
- relevant qualifications NVQ 2 and 3 in childcare and learning (level 2 only may be acceptable if a willingness to work towards NVQ3 can be demonstrated)
- flexibility and use of initiative
- strong communication skills
- the ability to work alongside as part of a team
- patience and understanding of the ways different children learn
- a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Two references are also required prior to commencement of employment.
