About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students individually or in small groups to access the curriculum and overcome barriers to learning.
  • Assist with the implementation of individual education, behaviour, and care plans.
  • Promote positive behaviour, self-esteem, independence, and inclusion across the school.
  • Help prepare learning resources and maintain an engaging and supportive classroom environment.
  • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver high-quality educational experiences.

We particularly welcome candidates with knowledge or experience of working with students with additional needs, including autism.

What We’re Looking For

You will be:

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent experience).
  • Passionate about education and student development.
  • Able to build strong relationships with children and adults alike.
  • Enthusiastic, resilient, and reflective in your practice.
  • A team player who can work independently when needed.
