Teaching Assistant job summary

Teaching Assistant – to start as soon as possible – 22nd July 2022, 24 hours per week, Term time only
The post will be paid at Point 5 (FTE £19312, Pro Rata £11831 for 24 hours)
We will accept flexible working requests.

The primary focus for this role will be to support a pupil with an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) and therefore experience of supporting pupils with SEND is essential. This role could also involve supporting teaching and learning across the school, working within a whole class setting or delivering interventions. The role will also include lunchtime working to support pupils during this period of the day.
The hours would be from 09:00 to 15:30 daily, with 30 minutes for lunch.
Accountable to the SENCO/Deputy Head teacher.
