is seeking to appoint a Part-Time
Experienced Teaching Assistant
Payscale: Salary: Grade 2/ Point 2 (£22,366 per annum FTE, approx £14,213 pro rata)
Monday to Friday
27.50 hours per week/39 weeks per year
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm (30-minute Lunch break, unpaid)
You will be required to undertake the role of a Midday Supervisor each day

About You
The ideal candidate will be an individual who has:
teaching assistant qualification and/or proven experience of working with children in a school setting
experience of working with children with challenging behaviour
experience in working with children who have special education needs
good English and maths skills (GCSE or equivalent advisable)
ability to use IT equipment and computer programmes
be able to transition and track pupil progress through intervention
the willingness to undertake further training and development
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Is enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education
Is highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
Can work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils
Has a ‘can-do’ attitude and has the ability to use their initiative
Can work flexibly and professionally
About Role
We are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join our team, working 27.50 hours per week, 39 weeks per year with the working hours required being 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.
