Teaching Assistant job summary
We are seeking to appoint creative and
dynamic Teaching Assistants to work with our Secondary students at Iford
Academy, part of Tregonwell Academy. Flexibility maybe required to work at our
Satellite class.
Duties
include assisting the teacher to provide care and support for pupils, to
support learning through planned and differentiated activities, preparation of
an effective learning environment, completing and maintaining records under
supervision, and promoting and safeguarding the welfare of pupils.
We
are looking for candidates who are passionate and ambitious with a drive and
commitment to improve the life chances of our young people. You will preferably
have experience of working with young people with additional needs including
childhood trauma, alongside SEMH and ASC.
You
will have a dynamic, exceptional and creative approach to improving the
teaching and learning in a way that benefits all children. We will consider
applications for a Grade 3 position.
