What skills and experience we're looking for

Do you have experience of working with young people aged 11 – 18?

St Peter and St Paul have opportunities for enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join our warm and welcoming school. You will have a talent for engaging children and will be required to work flexibly across all age groups and abilities.

This role complements the work of our teachers and will vary from day to day. You will work in 1:1 situations, cover small groups and provide general classroom support. You will work with children who have varying needs, from SEN needs to behavioural and emotional needs.

You will provide first aid treatment (training will be given).

There will be opportunities to develop within the school and make a valued contribution to our children's learning.

This is a permanent role starting as soon as possible. You will be working for 32.5 hours per week, term time only.

Although the role is advertised as full time, we are happy to consider job share and flexible working for the right candidates.
