Normanton Common Primary Academy joined Waterton Academy Trust in 2015. Waterton Academy Trust consists of 14 primary phase schools, 4 specialist SEN units and 4 pre-schools in the Wakefield and Barnsley area. As part of this Trust both staff and children enjoy varied opportunities for collaboration in all areas of the curriculum.

The school is constantly striving to provide high-quality learning opportunities, which engage, challenge and inspire all our pupils.
