·       Position is 27.5 hours Term Time + 1 week.


·       Annual Salary £13,731.19 - £13,981.31

Magdalen Academy is a small, rural school which works alongside Wimbotsham and Stow Academy and St Germans Academy under the leadership one Headteacher. We have a well-established proactive staff team that are committed to the education of the whole child.

We aim to provide happy and supportive surroundings for the children in our care and have in place a wide range of learning experiences to ensure the full growth and development of the child – physically, intellectually, socially, and morally.

We are looking for a enthusiastic, creative and dynamic teaching assistant to work alongside the class teacher to support learning of all pupils.

You will be someone who:

·       Is passionate about working with children.

·       Has experience of working in a school setting.

·       Has experience of working with children with SEND.

·       Is creative and can think on their feet.

·       Has excellent numeracy/ literacy skills.

·       Works well as part of a team.


·       Has a clear understanding of safeguarding and keeping children safe in education.
