Teaching Assistant job summary
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant to join our inclusion team. Teaching Assistants work with different students in a range of faculties. Experience of the 11-16 age range is desirable but not essential.
The successful candidate will have:
• the ability to support and motivate students
• the ability to identify potential barriers to learning
• relevant experience in working with young people (desirable)
• the ability to work effectively with colleagues as part of a team and individually
• good literacy and numeracy skills

Prince Henry’s is a successful and over-subscribed comprehensive school with over 1630 students – including around 320 in the Sixth Form. We serve the market town of Otley and the surrounding area, approximately 12 miles from Leeds.
