Keen to learn
We value reflective practice and have a desire to be ‘even better’. We provide a range of opportunities for continuous development.
A resilient ‘can-do’ attitude
We adopt a problem-solving approach with teamwork and collaboration. Staff wellbeing is important to us and we regularly review workload.
Kind and caring
We implement restorative practice in the school and aim to understand each child’s needs.
Commitment to inclusivity and excellence
We have high standards and help children to be the best that they can be academically, behaviourally, emotionally and in all areas of the curriculum.
Relational
Staff seek to be positive role-models. We believe that relationships are at the heart of everything we do.
Visitors comment on the warm atmosphere in the school. Our children are friendly, enthusiastic and welcoming. They strive to do their best and enjoy attending school. We offer candidates the opportunity to join our supportive and motivated team of staff and governors with excellent opportunities for professional development.
Our school is part of the River Learning Trust. Our collective vision is to be a Trust where pupils and staff thrive in schools which demonstrate commitment to excellence, everyone learning, respectful relationships.

OUR ‘HOW?’ is through the highest support and challenge for our schools and each other, underpinned by our principles.
Our employees benefit from a wide variety of support including extensive continuing professional learning and development opportunities, wellbeing and staff networks and access to Defined Benefit Pension Schemes (TPS and LGPS) for all staff.
