Teaching Assistant job summary

The successful candidate will to work 8.50am – 3.20pm Monday to Friday (term time only) and will include half an hour lunchtime duty each day. This is initially on a fixed term basis to August 2025 with the possibility to extend.
This are classroom-based role, working alongside the class teacher supporting children with their learning as part of the whole class, in small groups or one to one with a pupil with SEND needs. The first role includes being part of our whole school lunchtime supervision team working on a rota basis. Occasionally, we may need you to work solely with one child if this is what their needs require; however, we do, as far as is practicable, move our staff around so that they acquire a broad range of experience and expertise.
30 hours per week, term time only. Grade Range 1B 8-10 depending on experience, full time equivalent £23,760.00 to £24,223.00. We would urge you to visit our school, so you can see what makes our school such a special place to work.
