What skills and experience we're looking for

St Thomas Catholic Voluntary Academy, part of the St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, are seeking a talented, committed and caring Teaching Assistant to join the staff team from September 2022. This position will initially be working one-to-one with a Junior child.

If you are an enthusiastic and supportive Teaching Assistant who is committed to getting the best outcomes for pupils then we want to hear from you. The successful candidate will be able to build effective working relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues and will adapt their approach to meet the needs of all pupils.

• Working with the class teacher to raise the learning and attainment of a pupil in
• Promoting the pupil's independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
• Giving support to the pupil, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement
