Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking for an experienced candidate to work across school with groups and individual children. The role will also include supporting children during break and lunch times. This post will include supporting children with special educational needs following the direction of the class teachers.

You will have:

  • High expectations of yourself and the children
  • Experience of working with children with a range of needs
  • The ability to communicate effectively with others
  • A desire to be patient, positive and kind to children
  • The ability to promote positive relationships with children and families
  • A sense of humour
