Teaching Assistant job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen at All Souls' CEP School to join our team as a Teaching Assistant supporting individual childrens needs.
We are seeking a professional individual, who is confident in dealing with children's individual and specific needs, including intimate care needs.
We require an organised professional who has:
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- High standard of English and Maths
- Level 2/3 in Teaching and Learning in School (or equivalent)
- The ability to liaise with staff, parents and professionals, offering support and challenge as appropriate.
- The ability to work using your own initiative at a highly professional level.
- A secure knowledge of safeguarding.
- A thorough understanding of differing needs and vulnerability of children.
- A belief in inclusion, diversity and the right of each child to be successful whatever their needs, abilities and background.
- Ability to work as part of a hardworking, enthusiastic and committed team.
Salary will be paid at Aquila Pay Level B (FTE £24,796.00)
Term Time Contract - Working Hours 30hrs per week. 8:30am- 3:00pm; (includes 30 minutes lunch duty), 30 minutes unpaid at lunchtime and 15mins unpaid at breaktime.
This position is a fixed term contract, in the first instance, to August 2027.
