A Short Description of the Apprenticeship

To undertake a programme of study which will lead to a Teaching Assistant Qualification. This will

qualify the trainee to work in schools and can be a route to Teacher Training.

A Short Description of what the Apprentice will be Doing

Apprentices support in preparing resources, supporting children with learning activities and ensuring

a safe and welcoming environment for children. They will follow policies and procedures to

contribute to the effectiveness of the school and support in safeguarding children and getting the

very best start for them.

Qualifications required/desired

Maths, English and Science GCSE or equivalent.
