Teaching Assistant Apprentice job summary
The role will involve working with children within the primary phase (ages 4 – 11). You will support children on a one-to-one basis, in small groups and also support the class teacher in delivering high quality education. As part of the apprenticeship you will be trained in how to effectively support children to be the best they can be, including:
• How pupils learn and develop
• Use of technology to support learning
• Support assessment for learning
• Safeguarding
• Health and safety
• Curriculum knowledge
