Teaching Assistant Apprentice job summary
We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our school as a Teaching Assistant Apprentice.
This role is ideal for someone at the start of their career who is keen to gain hands-on experience in education while working towards a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification. You will support students in lessons, work closely with experienced staff, and develop the skills needed to support teaching and learning effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students in lessons across a range of subjects
- Work with individuals or small groups to support learning and engagement
- Assist teachers with preparing classroom resources and activities
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support students with additional needs where required
- Assist with supervision duties and pastoral support
- Develop your own skills and knowledge through training and coursework
- Maintain a professional and positive approach at all times
