Teaching Assistant job summary

IFPT is looking for a Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant for Chepping View Primary Academy. 

Chepping View Primary Academy is an extremely popular, oversubscribed primary academy with a diverse curriculum that includes Forest Schools. We are also a Behaviour Hub, Primary SCITT and part of Inspiring Futures Partnership Trust. 

Position:

We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant,  start date is asap subject to recruitment checks.  Experience of working with children is welcome and training will be provided. 

Are you:

• ·         Able to demonstrate suitable experience and/or qualificationsfor working in our Academy.
• ·         Child centred and put children’s best interests at the heart of all that you do.
• ·         Highly motivated in supporting young children to make excellent progress.
• ·         Able to respond appropriately to the wide ranging and sometimes complexneeds of the pupils
• ·         A caring and patient individual.
• ·         A strong team member who can foster positive relationships with pupils, staff parents & carers.
• ·         Flexible, adaptable and able to work on your own initiative.

Do you have:

• ·         A good standard of literacy and numeracy
• ·         Excellent communication skills with children and adults, and a strong grasp of spoken English
• ·         Commitment to teamwork.
