Teaching Assistant job summary
IFPT is looking for a Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant for Chepping View Primary Academy.
Chepping View Primary Academy is an extremely popular, oversubscribed primary academy with a diverse curriculum that includes Forest Schools. We are also a Behaviour Hub, Primary SCITT and part of Inspiring Futures Partnership Trust.
Position:
We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, start date is asap subject to recruitment checks. Experience of working with children is welcome and training will be provided.
Are you:
- · Able to demonstrate suitable experience and/or qualificationsfor working in our Academy.
- · Child centred and put children’s best interests at the heart of all that you do.
- · Highly motivated in supporting young children to make excellent progress.
- · Able to respond appropriately to the wide ranging and sometimes complexneeds of the pupils
- · A caring and patient individual.
- · A strong team member who can foster positive relationships with pupils, staff parents & carers.
- · Flexible, adaptable and able to work on your own initiative.
Do you have:
- · A good standard of literacy and numeracy
- · Excellent communication skills with children and adults, and a strong grasp of spoken English
- · Commitment to teamwork.
