Salary: NJC Grade C - £23,500 - £24,294 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

Working Pattern: This is a fixed term position working 28 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

We are seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work between the Communication and Interaction Resource Base (CAIRB) and our mainstream school provisions.

We are looking for an individual that has experience and knowledge of working with pupils with Autism and/or communication and interaction difficulties. The CAIRB works to support a small group of SEND pupils to access mainstream education at Pilton Community College. We require an individual able to support pupils in mainstream lessons across the school curriculum in Key Stage 3 and 4.

This is a fixed term contract working 28 hours per week, 39 weeks per year for 1 year. This fixed term contract is linked to student-based funding.

We are looking for individuals who have the vision and resilience to support vulnerable students in overcoming their barriers to learning. If you are reliable, tenacious and enthusiastic, a good communicator, and can demonstrate that you have the relevant skills, training or experience to make a positive difference to the lives of our secondary aged students, we would welcome an application from you.
