What the school offers its staff
Bank View is a special school for students with complex learning difficulties. This is an exciting time in the development of Bank View School with the opening of our new provision on the south side of the city (Speke). We are a successful school looking to appoint a number of higher level teaching assistants across 2 of our sites. The role is to provide cover across both sites as and when needed.
Bank View – Fazakerley (years 5 to 14)
Bank View – Speke (Year 7)
In 2019 OFSTED rated us outstanding in all areas. They stated ‘This is a happy school. There is genuine warmth between the pupils and staff. Relationships are strong, and staff know each pupil exceptionally well.’ We have a new building with excellent facilities. The school has the National Autistic Society’s charter mark.

We are seeking energetic, empathetic and highly motivated teaching assistants to join us at Bank View across all phases of the school. You will be expected to support learning for pupils with a wide range of abilities, from pupils working on the engagement model to those studying for GCSE qualifications. You will have high expectations and be committed to helping pupils to become confident, secure and happy learners.
