Based at Barnby Road Academy the post will cover the Newark and Minster Family of schools
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly skilled and flexible TA to work across the Newark and Minster Family Primary Schools.
Job Purpose:
• To deliver a range of individual and group sessions in Primary schools within the partnership that support the social and emotional needs of the children under the guidance of the Primary SBAP Co-Ordinator.
• To share good practice through coaching methods and training
• To be an advocate for children and their families
The Role:
• To develop new ways of working with parents, carers and children promoting their emotional health and well being through a relationship based approach
• To carry out planned programmes of work with individuals and groups of children and to support schools and families
• To develop a portfolio of resources, interventions and training
• To reduce the risk of suspension from school
This position will include a comprehensive induction to empower the right candidate to fulfil the role.
