Teaching Assistant
LGPS: Grade 4, Points 04-05, (£23,114 - £23,500) pro rata – pay rise pending
We are seeking to recruit, for January 2025, a motivated and skilled Teaching Assistant to join our Learning Support team.
The post will be permanent, for 30 hours per week term time only. Hours will be 8.40am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.40am to 3.05pm on a Friday. Remuneration will be on the Local Government Pay Spine (LGPS) at Grade 4, Points 04-05, £23,114 to £23,500 (£12.01 - £12.21 per hour), pay rise pending.
The successful candidate will find the position to be varied and stimulating. Our Teaching Assistants regularly support students with special educational needs across a wide variety of subject areas, either inside or outside of the classroom environment.
Some experience of working in a secondary school environment would be an advantage.
