Full-time equivalent salary
- Grade 4, scp 7. £22,369 per annum, pro rata (Rising to £22,777 + £1,347 SEN allowance per annum, pro rata after 1year’s service)
What skills and experience we're looking for
- The post holders’ responsibilities include providing general classroom support, meeting pupils’ emotional, social and physical needs and liaising with teaching staff in the development and delivery of a differentiated curriculum.
- Applicants will need to be confident, resilient and have excellent communication skills.
- Experience of working with children would be an advantage but working well within a team is essential.

The Mendip School is part of the multi-academy trust partnership known as The Partnership Trust. This status allows the school to be more autonomous and to focus on initiatives that raise aspiration and achievement for children and young people.
The Mendip School staff and governors are committed to and passionate about the learning and progress of our pupils. We have high aspirations for our young people and we aim to provide a high quality, relevant and balanced education for all our pupils that focuses on individual, personal and academic achievement. Students are taught in small groups, usually with more than one member of staff in attendance. There is a happy and positive atmosphere in which young people can fulfill their potential and grow in self-confidence with respect for the people and environment around them.
