Applicants should
• Have a good, general education (GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above)
• Have previous experience of working with children with SEND
• Have a willingness to undertake training in medical procedures
• Be enthusiastic, organised and flexible
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant for pupils with complex needs, including ASD, is desirable but the successful candidate will be working within a skilled and supportive team. They will be expected to provide support to individual students, small groups or work in whole class settings across the curriculum. They will receive excellent support from a hardworking and dedicated team.
Rowde Campus is a beautiful school in the Devizes area of central Wiltshire with excellent transport links to local towns, which enables our staff and students to take full advantage of the wealth of opportunities that these links provide. The school grounds also give plenty of opportunity to develop outdoor skills and learning.

Silverwood School is a new maintained co-educational special school for pupils aged 4 to 19 years. We formed in September of 2020 with campuses in Rowde, Trowbridge and Chippenham: former schools of Rowdeford School, Larkrise School and St Nicholas School.
