Grade 14 Scale Point 4 £9.81 per hour - Term-Time only
Paid weeks: 43.32 weeks per year. Working weeks: 38 weeks per academic year, excluding INSET Days
27.5 hours per week over 5 days
Fixed term initially until 8th April 2022 with potential to extend
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and flexible Teaching Assistant to support teaching staff at Haselbury Plucknett First School. This post is a fixed term contract in the first instance dependent on funding. This role is working across the school working with YR- Yr4. The role will involve general class support along with planning and delivering specific group or 1-1 interventions. The role also includes keeping records and reviewing progress.

The successful candidate will:
Be enthusiastic, flexible and organised.
Have recent and relevant Teaching Assistant experience with primary aged children.
Be able to relate effectively with learners and adults.
Have knowledge and experience of supporting children with dyslexia.
Have knowledge and experience of Speech and Language support.
A desirable factor would also be an individual who has delivered phonics through Read Write Inc, although this is not essential.
