Teaching Assistant job summary
Bourne Community College is a popular school which is seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work with students with special educational needs.
The successful candidate will be working within the SEN Team and will be expected to provide support to individual students, small groups or work in whole class settings across the curriculum.
Experience of working with children with special educational needs would be beneficial but is not essential if you have a strong desire to support young people overcome their barriers to learning. Candidates must have a high standard of communication, numeracy and literacy and be able to promote these effectively to ensure we deliver outstanding academic outcomes.
This is a fixed term contract until July 2022, term time only, plus INSET
Days, for 26.5 hours per week and would be required to start as soon as possible.
Salary: Grade 4 Points 5-6 with a salary range of £19312-£19698 p.a. pro-rata.
(Approx £11703-£11938 p.a.)
