Teaching Assistant job summary
We are seeking to appoint an excellent teaching assistant to join our school family. We require a skilled, caring individual to support our pupils. The role will involve working as part of a supportive and friendly team to deliver outstanding pastoral care and high academic challenge.
In return, we can offer a friendly and supportive staff, engaging pupils, supportive parents and tailored programme of CPD.
The post is for 32.5 hours and would involve supporting groups of pupils in class during the mornings and delivering intervention and tuition in the afternoons and after school. Experience of supporting pupils with literacy difficulties and effectively using intervention programmes would be beneficial. The contract would be temporary for two terms and will be reviewed at the end of the academic year. We would consider a job share. Pay is dependant upon experience and qualifications
