We are looking for Teaching Assistants to support pupils in class, deliver small group interventions and deliver 1:1 support for pupils with special educational needs. The right candidate needs to be flexible, enthusiastic, highly motivated and have the ability to work as part of the whole school team. Due to the nature of the role, experience of working as a teaching assistant in a school is desirable and those with such experience will be given preference.

As with all positions in our school, the successful applicant should ultimately be prepared to work in any year group across the school, which may require flexibility in hours, although individual strengths will always be taken into account.

Do you have a desire to make teaching and learning innovative, exciting and FUN for ALL children, no matter what their ability or level of need?

Do you have a ‘can do’ attitude, and a fundamental belief that children can succeed, whatever their barriers to learning?

Do you have a heart to change children’s lives by inspiring them to reach and exceed their social and academic potential?

Do you have a passion for challenge – to continually improve yourself to become the very best that you can be?

Do you believe in a Values based Education, which challenges children to be reflective, responsible and upstanding citizens in today’s society?

YES?

You could be who we are looking for.

Broughton Fields is an exciting school based on the eastern edge of Milton Keynes. We are passionate about providing the very best for the children in our care, and work closely with their families to give them all the support and encouragement that they need to excel and shine. We are keen to embrace the latest ideas and initiatives whilst retaining traditional standards of hard work, outstanding behaviour, respect and care. Values Based Education runs through every fibre of our school and shapes the way we teach, learn and treat one other. We work hard, but we have lots of fun too.

If you would relish the challenge of this exciting post, we look forward to hearing from you. Please contact the school if you would like to visit or if you have any questions, e-mail office@broughtonfieldsprimary.org.uk. Applications through www.MyNewTerm.com.
