What skills and experience we're looking for
We wish to appoint an excellent Teaching Assistant to join our enthusiastic, committed and caring team of staff. The role will be varied and will involve working with class teachers to deliver excellent learning activities, pastoral support and 1:1 support when required. The hours and days of work are flexible for the right candidate and can be anything from 12 hours to 32 hours a week term time only plus 2 INSET days. The role is fixed term initially until 31 August 2025.
The ideal candidates will have a qualification in literacy and numeracy equivalent to GCSE Grade A* - C, or Level 2 on the national vocational framework. They will also hold an NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants (or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate a keen interest in children's learning and development. They must have experience of working with children, as well as being enthusiastic and flexible. In addition, they should be a genuine team player, and be prepared to 'go the extra mile'.
