Cardinal Griffin Catholic College, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of students across all Key Stages.

About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support students in achieving their full potential. This role involves working with individuals or small groups of students, assisting in classroom activities, and providing tailored support to students with additional learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Work with small groups or one-on-one with students to reinforce learning.
  • Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources.
  • Provide support to students with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND).
  • Promote a positive and safe learning environment aligned with Catholic values.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting.
  • A passion for supporting students’ educational and personal development.
  • A flexible, positive, and patient attitude with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Commitment to supporting the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
