Teaching Assistant job summary

Caroline Haslett Primary School (CHPS) is looking for a Teaching Assistant with outstanding potential to support and contribute to ensuring our school continues to flourish. 

Monday – Friday 8.45am until 3.15pm term time, with a team meeting taking place once a week until 4.00pm, plus five additional INSET days.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in partnership with the teaching staff at CHPS. Our school is passionate and committed to ensuring that our curriculum is engaging and inspiring, with high levels of creativity and innovation in our teaching and learning across the school. ·         Someone who enjoys the challenge and can bring the vision, passion and drive to raise standards in all aspects of school life;

·         Able to positively promote inclusion and have high expectations for all children;

·         Have an NVQ 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification;

·         Have a Grade 5 or above in English and Maths GCSE or an equivalent qualification;

·         Have experience of Teaching phonics.
