What skills and experience we're looking for
THE ROLE
The school caters for students of all abilities from its local community, including those with SEND. Due to an increase in the number students who joined the school in September who require additional support we are looking to increase our Teaching Assistant (TA) staffing. The successful candidate would be mainly classroom based supporting students to access their learning but would also potentially work with small groups to complete tailored interventions.
The SEND Department plays a crucial role in the success of students and therefore a commitment to wider opportunities such as attending trips or being a first aider would be an advantage.
For further information contact: Mrs Katie Ward, SENDCo k.ward@shs.set.education or Mrs Karen Millar, Headteacher k.millar@shs.set.education
Application Closing Date will be – Friday 21st June 2024
Interview date – Wednesday 26th June 2024
