Level 3 Early Years Teaching Nursery Teaching Assistant.

Start: 2 January 2024

Salary: Grade 3, scale point 5-6, £23,500 to £23,893 (actual pro rata £16,824.51 to £17,105.87)

Location: Chandag Primary Pre-school and Nursery, Keynsham

Contract: Part Time, 31.25 hours per week (Mon-Fri 8.30am-3.15pm)

Term: Fixed term until31 August 2024, Term Time Only Plus 2 inset days

We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant with children in our nursery and pre school and join our support staff team.

This is an exciting time to join our early years team as we expand and relocate our nursery and pre-school. The school has grown rapidly in recent years, and we currently have a 24 place Nursery and Pre-School, with a high demand for places and 14 classes from Reception to Year 6. This will continue to grow over the next few years. We also benefit from a large site, with spacious indoor and outdoor areas. You will benefit from working closely with our early years phase leader and will have training opportunities within the Futura Learning Partnership.

Successful candidates will be passionate about working with children and have a sound understanding of early years provision.

Role:

We are looking to appoint an early years teaching assistant to join our team providing a safe, inclusive and caring environment for children aged between 2 and 11 years attending our school.
