Teaching Assistant job summary
Chepping View Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a number of friendly, enthusiastic and hard-working Teaching Assistants in Foundation Stage (Reception), Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. We are able to be flexible with the hours and days worked and will provide comprehensive training and support to successful candidates during the academic year.
The role will involve:
• Supporting learning (small groups and 1 to 1) in and outside of classrooms
• Supporting pupils will additional needs
• Delivering high quality continuous provision and contributing to pupil assessment
• Helping children to develop both socially, emotionally and academically
• Managing behaviour and routines and undertaking some breaktime and medical duties
