Would you like to join a good school? Working with super staff, cheerful children, a creative curriculum, a helpful head, good governors, fantastic facilities and great grounds – now’s your chance!
We are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide good academic and pastoral support to our most vulnerable children.
If the right candidate comes forward, there is an opportunity for that TA to become part of our Year 6 High Support Class team for this year. This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in SEN. It would provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to work within an inclusive and supportive class team, alongside the class teacher and two other TAs, to support a class of just 16 children with a range of SEN, all with great potential to have a really successful year in preparation to transition to high school. This is a chance to make a significant difference. For this role, we would require a candidate to have experience in working with children with a range of needs. We are an inclusive school and experience of working with children who have experienced trauma would be advantageous.
If you are:
• Highly motivated and committed to providing vulnerable children with a high standard of additional support
• Patient, caring and kind, and able to help vulnerable children understand how to communicate with peers effectively.
• Confident in your ability to successfully lead learning with individuals and small groups of children, under the direction of the class teacher.
• Ready for a positive challenge that will require you to be imaginative and creative
we would love to hear from you!
A copy of the job profile, application form and safer recruitment form can be found on our school website: Or please contact Mrs Diane Lycett, HR and Finance Manager, by email as above for further details. Applications will only be accepted on the correct application form.
• Closing date 9am Thursday 30th September
• Interviews on Tuesday 5th October
