Saint John Houghton Catholic Voluntary Academy, part of the St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi-Academy Trust is seeking to appoint two highly skilled and motivated Teaching Assistant who will work as part of a very successful and experienced team who achieve excellent outcomes for students.

We can offer the successful candidate:

You will be responsible for:

  • Working with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils
  • Promoting pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
  • Giving support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement

The successful candidate will be able to build effective working relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues and will adapt their approach to meet the needs of all pupils.
