  • Prepare and maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment, including assisting with displays and resources.
  • Promote positive behaviour and support children’s social development during learning and break times.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils to support their learning, wellbeing, and personal development.
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers, support staff, and families to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality, uphold safeguarding procedures, and model the school’s values in all interactions.

We Are Looking For

  • Someone who enjoys working with children and is passionate about supporting their growth and learning.
  • A positive and proactive team member who communicates well and works collaboratively with others.
  • An individual with a good level of literacy and numeracy, who is able to follow teacher direction and support learning confidently.
  • Someone who values inclusion and believes in the potential of every child.
  • A flexible, dependable person who maintains professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
  • Someone who understands the importance of safeguarding and wellbeing in a school setting.

We Can Offer You:

  • A commitment to people across our partnership, underpinned by our people principles: adaptability, wellness, recognising achievement, employee voice and engagement, professional development and growth, inclusivity, and collaboration.
  • Access to extensive, high-quality CPL at every stage of your career, including opportunities to grow as a leader.
  • The opportunity to progress across the partnership, realising your career ambitions.
  • Access to an employee assistance programme that offers specialist support, including counselling, financial support, and legal advice.
