Hours: 32.5 hours, 39 weeks per annum (term time plus one week)

Working pattern: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm

Your role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work with students in the classroom and with small groups, supporting them to access learning activities to meet their needs.  There may also be occasions where you are required to support students in providing personal and intimate care as some of our students need assistance with everyday activities. You will establish mutually respectful and supportive relationships with our students. The role will be both challenging and rewarding and although experience of working with secondary school-aged students would be an advantage, it is not essential: we would consider personality and commitment of the utmost importance. Full training will be given.

We cater for students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, including those with Education Health and Care Plans.  We have recently moved to a new and exciting bespoke area within the setting, offering superb facilities to meet our students’ needs. The department is well resourced and includes fantastic practitioners. We are looking to appoint a colleague who shares our vision and determination to help every student achieve their potential.
