Teaching Assistant – Level 1 (Fixed Term initially to July 2026, Dedicated Specific Needs)
SALARY: NJC Level 1 Point 2 (£23,656 FTE per annum) to 3 (£24,027 FTE per annum)
BASED AT: Lawnside Academy
RESPONSIBLE TO: Principal
HOURS: 30 hours per week, term time plus 5 training days (8:45am – 12:30pm, 30min lunch break, minus 1 x 15-minute coffee break / 1pm – 3:30pm)

PURPOSE OF ROLE
To work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in the classroom with the teacher, supporting access to learning for pupils and providing general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
