What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will:
- be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in childcare or equivalent;
- be passionate and committed to improving the life chances of our pupils and making a difference;
- be a positive role model who can inspire and motivate;
- can provide a high level of support to children, catering for their individual needs;
- support and champion the school’s ethos and values;
- be a team player who is positive and flexible.
The successful candidate will provide daily care for our children alongside the class teacher including assistance with toileting and changing nappies, when required.

Derwent Primary School is seeking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated, passionate and innovative team.
